Edouard Cuendet, Director

After graduating in Law from Bern University in 1991, Edouard Cuendet was trainee with the Law Firm Mentha, Maystre, Morand & Partners in Geneva. He passed his bar exam in 1994 and became an associate with the law firm Borel & Barbey in the litigation department.

In 1999 Edouard Cuendet joined the Groupement des Banquiers Privés Genevois as First Secretary. He was appointed Secretary General of the Groupement from January 1st 2010. In this position, he was responsible for all legal matters and public affairs linked to Geneva politics. He acted as the Geneva private bankers’ representative to several local political and economic associations and was the private bankers’ spokesman to the media for questions related to Geneva’s local affairs.

Since January 1st 2014 he is the managing Director of the Geneva Financial Center Foundation, the leading trade association for the Geneva financial industry.

Edouard Cuendet is also a member of the Geneva Parliament since 2004. Among others he takes part in the Financial Commission as well as in the Economy Committee.

As Co-Chief Investment Officer at Mirae Asset Global Investments (HK), Rahul Chadha helps oversee the entire Investment Unit comprising mainly portfolio managers, research analysts and traders who are responsible for the management of the firm’s Asia Pacific investment products. He is a member of the Investment Committee and plays a key role in the development and approval of internal investment policies, processes and key investment decisions for the entire Mirae Asset Global Investments Group. He also sits on the Risk Management Committee which oversees overall investment risk.

Furthermore, Rahul manages a number of the firm’s Asia Pacific equity portfolios and frequently interacts with portfolio companies and investors to communicate the company’s investment philosophy and views on the Asia Pacific markets. He has established strong relationships with industry peers and is also one of the company’s main spokesmen.
Rahul joined Mirae Asset as an Analyst in 2006. He was subsequently promoted to Portfolio Manager to manage some of the firm’s flagship funds and in 2008 became Senior Portfolio Manager. In 2011, he diversified into managing Asia Pacific mandates for Mirae Asset’s US & Luxembourg domiciled funds.

Rahul began his career in financial services in 1999 when he joined Dundee Mutual Funds as an Equity Analyst covering the entire range of listed India equities, leaving in 2003 to join Aviva Life Insurance as a Senior Equity Analyst. During his two-year stint with Aviva, the unit-linked and India portfolios have consistently outperformed the peers in their respective categories. He later joined Standard Chartered Mutual Funds as a Senior Equity Analyst for one year.
Rahul holds a degree in Master of Finance and Control, a postgraduate program with specialization in Finance and a Bachelor of Business Studies, an undergraduate management program with Marketing specialization, both from the University of Delhi in India. He speaks English and Hindi.

Nikolaos Panigirtzoglou est Global Market Strategist, Managing Director at J.P. Morgan.  A ce titre, il est responsable de l’édition hebdomadaire de Flows & Liquidity, contribue à The JPMorgan View et au Global Markets Outlook and Strategy de J.P. Morgan. Basé à Londres, il rejoint J.P. Morgan en 2004 après avoir été Économiste Financier à la Banque d’Angleterre.
Nikolaos Panigirtzoglou est titulaire d’un PhD de Queen Mary University of London, un MSc in Economics de la London School of Economics ainsi que d’un MSc in Economics and Finance de la Warwick Business School.

Terence Sinclair, Managing Director, is Citi’s Director of Research for Europe, Middle East and Africa and a member of Citi’s EMEA Heads of Business Committee. Terry joined the firm through Salomon Brothers in 1996 initially covering steel and metals, consistently ranked in the top 3 in public surveys and placed first among analysts in all sectors in the 1999 Reuters survey. He covered European telecom stocks from 1999 to 2009, leading a team ranked in the top three and was particularly well known for coverage of wireless stocks, ranking top in Extel. A managing director since 2001, Terry holds an MA from Cambridge University.

James Murray joined the Global Quantitative Research team at Citi in 2013. He started his career in 2007 at Man group working as a quantitative analyst in various guises including research, risk management and structured products. He moved to Macquarie in 2010 performing both risk and alpha orientated quantitative research. James Holds a masters degrees in Finance and Statistics from Durham and London (Birkbeck) respectively. He is a CFA charterholder as well as being a member of both the Royal Statistical Society and Institute of Electronic and Electrical Engineers.
